Commissions.
Dream it.
Every painting begins with a spark like a dream, a feeling, or an image you can’t quite put into words. That’s the heart of a commission: you bring me the essence, and I translate it into color and form. Maybe you’re drawn to a certain mood, whether soft and romantic, bold and fiery, or calm and serene. Maybe there are colors that have always spoken to you, or a memory, poem, song, or single word you’d like me to carry into the canvas. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Sometimes just a hint of an idea is enough to begin, and together we’ll shape your vision into a piece of art that is yours alone.
Paint it.
Once your vision takes shape, I bring it to life on canvas. My process is layered and intuitive — I begin with broad strokes and washes of color, letting the painting find its rhythm. From there, I build depth and texture, adding details slowly until the piece feels alive. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes delicate, but always guided by the feeling at the heart of your idea. I often leave traces of the process visible — brush marks, texture, movement — because I believe those imperfections are what give the painting its soul.
Commissions
There’s nothing like having a painting made just for you. A commissioned piece allows me to bring your vision to life - whether it’s a memory, a feeling, or simply colors that speak to you.
How It Works
Inquiry — Reach out through my contact form with what you’re dreaming of: subject, colors, mood, and size.
Quote — Prices are based on $3 per square inch. For example:
12 x 12 inches = 144 sq in = $432
16 x 20 inches = 320 sq in = $960
24 x 30 inches = 720 sq in = $2,160
Deposit — A 50% non-refundable deposit holds your spot and covers supplies.
Creation — I’ll send you progress photos along the way if you’d like, or you can wait for the surprise.
Completion — Once the final payment is made, I carefully package and ship your painting (U.S. only).
Timeline
Most commissions are completed within 4–8 weeks, depending on size and complexity. This is a typical timeframe, not a guarantee. Life and art both have their own pace, and I’ll always keep you updated along the way.
Notes
All commissioned work is original and handmade.
No returns or exchanges on commissions.
I retain copyright; you may not reproduce the image without permission.
Please Note
I do my best to accommodate commission requests, but not every project can be accepted. Since I also work full-time outside of my studio hours, I take on a limited number of commissions at a time to make sure each piece gets the attention it deserves.
